interactive advertising bureau

San Francisco, Ca

Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), based in New York, was opening a new office in San Francisco. The space needed to accommodate events, training, and workshops in addition to workspace and conference areas. Acoustics bubbled to the top as a major issue for when there are multiple events happening at that same time. The potentially high occupant loads also meant careful coordination of City and County requirements with the client’s budget. We provided the open-ceiling plan the client wanted, and used spray-on acoustic insulation to dampen sound throughout the entire space as well. Event spaces and work spaces sit at opposite ends of the L-shaped floorplan which wraps around a large useable terrace with outdoor seating, and the layout for events provides flexibility for small, large, and multiple happenings. A striking reception desk welcomes visitors, and the office is well lit by both extensive glazing and linear and decorative pendant lights throughout. Contemporary furniture, carpeting and pops of accent wall color give the space a fresh, vibrant look.
