Ready to Revel: Scott Clement Named CEO and Gary Nichols Named President

Revel has officially named Scott Clement as CEO and Gary Nichols as President, a move that formalizes their long-standing leadership within the firm. By aligning their titles with the roles they have already been executing, Revel is ushering in the firm’s next chapter.

With Gary serving as CEO since 2006 and Scott as President since 2016, the change finds Scott and Gary exchanging roles. This thoughtful leadership transition aligns with Revel’s emphasis on client relationships, project stewardship, and company culture. “The change is purposefully measured,” said President Gary Nichols. “The day-to-day experience of a Revel client or team member won’t be impacted, and that preservation is important to us.”

CEO Scott Clement is ready to build on Revel’s momentum by focusing on market expansion and design innovation. “We are entering a phase of intentional growth, entering new sectors, adopting new technologies, and empowering our people through key promotions,” said Clement. “Ultimately, this means our clients gain access to a more robust suite of services, backed by increasing expertise and a wider geographic presence.”

As President, Gary Nichols is moving from business operations to a dedicated focus on project leadership and client success. This strategic shift returns Gary to his design roots, where his expertise can have the most direct impact. “I’m returning to the core of my why,” Gary noted. Currently, he is leading design for 1455 Market, a multi-phase, turnkey development in partnership with Hudson Pacific Properties that showcases Revel’s specialized capabilities in Landlord Services.

In a time when the office is being reimagined as an essential business asset, Revel is evolving to remain at the forefront of the industry. “Our ability to anticipate and respond to market shifts inspires everything we do,” says Scott Clement. “I look forward to driving adaptability as we design the future of the workplace, our firm, and our industry.”

Revel is entering an ambitious new chapter, recently earning a spot on the Interior Design 2026 Top 100 Giants list. This milestone reflects a 50% increase in headcount over just 18 months—the result of a multi-year strategy led by leadership and brought to life by Revel’s dedicated team. The firm’s focus on diversifying into new markets has already produced thriving offices in Los Angeles and Austin, with a fourth location currently in development. This growth empowers the firm to deliver enhanced value while staying true to the inspired design, unique energy, and signature spirit that define Revel’s brand.
